This interdisciplinary curriculum focuses on polar pears and the effects of climate change on their habitats. Live webcasts with scientists on the tundra were broadcast from the Arctic, and students were able to post questions for the scientists both during and after the webcasts either by e-mail, chat, or the "Rolling on the Tundra" blog. The webcasts are archived for continued access, and the exhibit is dynamic and changing. There is also a Ning that has been created for educators to share project ideas, information, and form collaborations surrounding the topics of polar bears and climate change.
