My Wonderful World is an excellent resource for educators and students. It is published by National Geographic with the goal of increasing geographic learning. "Test Your Global IQ" and "10 Ways to Give Your Students the World" are excellent resources.

The Jane Goodall Institute - "Roots & Shoots," Making a Difference Globally - Apple Learning Interchange

Dr. Jane Goodall's educational outreach program is Roots & Shoots. Through this program, students can connect with other students and learn to make a difference in the world. Dr. Jane believes in the power of youth to affect change. She also believes that knowledge (of other cultures and global issues) leads to compassion which then leads to action. This is an exhibit on the Apple Learning Interchange that highlights some of the projects and opportunities available through Roots & Shoots.
